The Heart

I see

the black

and white,

and every color in between,

but beyond all sight

I see with my Heart.

I hear

the low

and high,

and every note and clamor,

but beyond all sound

I hear with my Heart

I think

the profound

and the mundane,

and every conceptual twist,

but beyond all thought

I know with my Heart

I love

the friend

and the enemy,

and everyone that breathes,

and beyond all beings

I love the Heart of hearts

The Heart

beyond all things

is ever still

and ever radiant,

embraces all

and is unequivocally embraced by all.

In you

my Heart

I find

my Rest.
